School Calendar & Tuition
We are a Washington State-licensed early education center that operates year-round. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; we offer an 8:00 a.m. early drop-off option for an additional cost of $100/mo, space permitting. Early drop-off children receive breakfast upon arrival.
We offer a full-time, five-day, Monday - Friday enrollment option exclusively.
Siblings receive priority status to enrollment and a 5% discount on the highest-paid tuition.

Waddlers & Toddlers - Seedling Room $2275/mo
Preschool - Evergreen Room $2175/mo
Preschool - Canopy Room (potty trained rate) $2025/mo (potty training rate) $2150/mo
PreK - Forest Room $1875/mo
We accept private payment via checking account or credit card (a 3% cc fee applies to credit cards).
Tuition reflects a Monday - Friday school schedule, a low teacher-to-child ratio, diapers/pull-ups and wipes for the Seedling and Evergreen classrooms' students, an indoor movement studio with enrichment classes, all in-school field trips (e.g., visiting instructors, performers, extra-curricular experiences, etc.), art and material supplies, a parent/family communication mobile app with an integrated curriculum and child assessments, disaster kit supplies, lunch, and at least two snacks daily.
Off-site field trips may incur an additional charge. Families are informed of all field trips via the school's newsletters.
Tuition is subject to an anticipated annual increase of 3% - 5%, which commences in July each year. The next tuition increase is scheduled for July 2025.
To facilitate the incorporation of the newest research and application of high-quality ECE practice, our staff may attend a continuing education conference or a retreat each year, which would exclude up to two additional days from the school's calendar. Families would be informed of these dates via the school’s newsletter at least 90 days in advance.
Monthly tuition does not fluctuate. Cedar School may be closed for holidays, professional development, etc.; however, the same tuition is charged each month. We do not prorate tuition for closures, absences, family travel, or vacations.
